Our Beliefs & Passion
Our tagline at Roovaa Lijuan has always been, “Stay Beautiful!” – where we emphasize on self-confidence and empowerment. We believe that every woman is beautiful in her own unique way and any garment that she wears is to accentuate her figure and enhance her beauty. This brand embodies the concept of making a woman feel good about embracing her true self. Saree being the most versatile garment, where any woman can wear regardless of size or shape is a true example of celebrating female beauty and femininity.
In terms of craftmanship, Roovaa Lijuan works closely with weavers from South India to produce handloomed sarees. We have enormous respect towards the traditional art of weaving, and we do our best to contribute towards sustainable fashion.
Most of our in-house saree designs are stitched and made by Malaysian women who are mostly single mothers and in need of financial support. It is our dream to establish a full-fledged workspace and provide employment opportunities for marginalised women in Malaysia.
